Getting Started

  1. After unboxing, wash it thoroughly
  2. Put it on a low flame
  3. Add in few drops of oil in all the pits
  4. Chop an onion and saute them in all the pits
  5. Discard the onions and wipe the pan with lint-free clean cloth or kitchen towel
  6. Pour the oil and continue making your favorite recipe

Maintenance

  1. Please note that dosa tawa need not to be washed often as that may break the seasoning layer of the pan.
  2. You can wash them once in 15 -20 days or so
  3. Incase you wash them, again repeat from steps 3 to 6.
  4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, make sure you dry the tawa very well. MOISTURE RETENTION will cause iron pan to RUST
  5. Grease the tawa with oil and store it in dry place
